Atlanta, GA, May 6, 2015 - Remote Counsel, the leading provider of remote participation solutions for legal events, proudly announces the pre-qualification of Remote Counsel University courses. Remote Counsel’s informative webinars focus on educating court reporters, videographers, and students on Remote Counsel products and services, marketing, technology, and more.

"NCRA has recently pre-qualified several educational offerings in realtime technology provided by Remote Counsel,” said Angie Ritterpusch, assistant director for professional development programs at the National Court Reporters Association. “We are thrilled to welcome Remote Counsel to NCRA's Distance Learning Family and look forward to working together to provide NCRA Members with new, cutting edge continuing education opportunities."

Offered each week, Remote Counsel University courses cover a variety of topics that are relevant for every member of the court reporting industry—regardless if they are Remote Counsel members or not. Each course strives to not only be informational, but also interactive. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and make comments throughout the webinar to ensure they are retaining all of the presented information.

Remote Counsel, an avid supporter of NCRA, began pursuing pre-qualification for the online webinars at the beginning of April. Each course lasts for an hour and is worth 0.1 credit hours—allowing those who attend all six webinars to earn 0.60 CEUs.

The current courses offered by Remote Counsel University are: “Introduction to RC Platform, Features, Products, and Services,” “How to Sell and Market RC Technology Solutions,” “Court Reporters and Remote Realtime,” “Videographer Setup,” “Videoconferencing Best Practices,” and “Scheduling.” All courses and links to registration can be found on Remote Counsel’s website.

“We are thrilled that NCRA has approved our Remote Counsel University courses and deemed them eligible for CEUs,” said Andrew Feinberg, CEO of Courtroom Connect, Remote Counsel’s parent company. “We at Remote Counsel position ourselves as an educational partner to the court reporting industry, and this validates our efforts. We plan to not only continue offering these informational and interactive courses, but will also expand our educational efforts in the future.”

All Remote Counsel University courses will now be available for CEU credit, as well as those that were given during the month of April. Please contact marketing(at)remotecounsel(dot)com for more information.
